Rob Arnold :: CIC, CPIA

Rob Arnold is Chief Operating Officer of the Property and Casualty Division of Myron Steves, a member of the Myron Steves Executive Committee, and President of Tryton Insurance Group. When Rob joined Myron Steves in 1994, he brought with him more than 23 years experience in the insurance industry in both Texas and Arkansas. Rob served as Director of Business Development until his appointment to Chief Operating Officer of Myron Steves in 2000. Rob has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and has served two terms as President of the Texas Chapter of CIC. He is also active in the Independent Agents of Texas, serving two years on the board of the Independent Insuranace Agents of Houston. Rob received the Affiliate Employee of the Year Award from IIAH in 1999. Rob currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Surplus Lines Association and received the prestigious Jack Claitor Scholarship Award in 2001. Rob has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Texas and received the honor of being the first "male member" of the Federation of Insurance Women after completing the FIWT'S curriculum and PIWT designation.



Gail Bowlin :: Vice President

Gail Bowlin is Vice-President of Tryton Insurance Group. Gail was recently promoted after serving as Manager of Myron Steves Special Risks.  Gail began her insurance career in 1975 as a personal lines underwriter for an independent agency.  In 1977, she became a branch manger of a multiline agency in Houston where she specialized in program business but also worked with a wide variety of risks - local, national and international.   Gail worked as an independent agent until 2001 when she started the Houston MGA branch for a large national broker.  

Gail served for four years on the AMS National Speakers Council, served on local PIA committees and trained St. Paul Top Brass Agents on a specialized program she initiated and designed.  Gail is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Training Program.
